Bahrain Economic Supply Projects has announced launching the second phase of digitalising its services in line with the Cabinet’s directives for all ministries and authourities to make quick digital shift for their services.

Starting from Wednesday, April 22, 2020 companies will be able to provide their bids for the government’s tenders through an integrated central online platform powered by the state-of-the-art Procurement 4.0. programme, while the process will be transparently handled and the tender winners will be announced on the same platform.

On this occasion, Secretary General of the Bahrain Economic Supply Projects Dr. Mohamed Ali Bahzad has valued the support and follow-up of HE Salman Bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Chairman of the  Bahrain Economic Supply Projects which has been instrumental in implementing this phase, stating that the launch of this pilot stage which includes full digitalisaiton of all its services will help contractors and companies submit their bids with ease, allowing more establishments to participate in the process, especially amid the ongoing crisis caused by the Coronavirus “Covid-19” pandemic outbreak.

“The full digitalisation of our services will start on Wednesday, April 22, 2020 via a complete plan designed for this purpose. The tenders announced before this process will be dealt by the traditional manner,” Mrs. Zafira said.

It’s worth noting that the Bahrain Economic Supply Projects is about to conduct two series of workshops for contractors and establishments to shed light on the new updates in its services.
