The Bahrain Economic Supply Projects, the independent regulator of Bahrain Government procurement activities, today opened 16 bids related to six tenders for three purchasing authorities.

 

four tenders were opened for Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA), the first tender for Appoint market based representative Territory in Saudi Arabia, two bids were received for this tender. The second tender for Appoint Market Based representative’s office in the State of Kuwait, two bids were received for this tender. As received Four bids were received for the third tender for Appoint market based representative’s offices in India. The fourth tender was to Appoint market based representatives in the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland, and four bids were received.

 

Furthermore, one tender was opened Tatweer Petroleum for the Supply of Lufkin Spares for five years, for which one bid was received.

 

Finally, one tender opened for Bahrain Airport Company for Support Infrastructure for (BIA) Network & Communication Fiber Ring at Bahrain International Airport, three applications were received for this tender.


The tender process was attended by representatives of the bidding companies and companies participating in the tenders. In line with the Bahrain Economic Supply Projects’s guidelines on competitiveness and fairness, the bids will be assessed on all relevant technical and financial criteria before being awarded to the best fit candidate.
