The Bahrain Economic Supply Projects, the independent regulator of Bahrain Government procurement activities, today opened 48 bids related to six tenders and one auctions for seven purchasing authorities.

During the meeting, two tender was opened for the Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning (Municipalities Affairs), for Create of the “Ain Rayaa Garden, received eight bids for this tender. As for the second tender of the Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning (Works Affairs), it was for the work of the first phase of the establishment of parking at the University of Bahrain - BLOCK 1054, 13 bids were received for this tender.

Furthermore, one tender was opened Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications for the Installation of 8 Air-Conditioned Bus Shelter, three bids were received for this tender.

It also included the opening session One tender for Ministry of Interior for supply of laboratory items for moi (termed tender for 3 years), three bids were received for this tender.

The Board opened one auction for the Bahrain Real Estate Investment (Edamah) for Leasing Land in Manama – Fareej Al Khodur, two bids were received for this auction.

In the aviation sector, one tender was also opened for the Bahrain Airport Company, five bids were received for Filming and Video Production for the new Terminal Building in Bahrain International Airport.

Finally, one tender for Gulf Air for the Supplying Casual Labours, Janitorial & Cleaning Services for Gulf Air, 14 bids were received.

The tender process was attended by representatives of the bidding companies and companies participating in the tenders. In line with the Bahrain Economic Supply Projects’s guidelines on competitiveness and fairness, the bids will be assessed on all relevant technical and financial criteria before being awarded to the best fit candidate.
