The Bahrain Economic Supply Projects, the independent regulator of Bahrain Government procurement activities, today opened 72 bids related to 17 tenders for 11 purchasing authorities.
Two tenders were opened for Ministry of Health, the first one is for supplier to supply and fix two unites of Reverse Osmosis (R.O.) to be used for Nephrology Center Salmaniya Medical Complex (SMC), Two bids were opened for this tender. The second tender is for purchase of various vaccines, for which four bids were received.
In additional, two tenders were opened for the Electricity and Water Authority (EWA). The first one was regarding car parking rental for muharraq customer services center , one bid were received for this tender. The second tender was for outsourcing GIS application developer for two years, for which four bids were received. (EWA) also received nine participant in the pre-qualification process regarding local contractors for measured term contract for geophysical & land survey works in water & electricity distribution directorates.
Three tenders were opened for the Central Stores Directorate. The first one, is for supply 0.6/1 KV cables, received five bids. The second, for purchase Joints Kit, received four bids. The third, for supply Cutout for XLPE insulated cable, for which one bid were received.
One tender for ministry of Transportation and telecommunications, for the design, construction and operation of the first phase of the Bahrain Metro project, six bids were received for this tender.
Furthermore, a tender for Ministry of Education related to network support provision maintenance for school’s ministries and directorates, eight bid were received for this tender. Four bids were received for providing manpower to assist student with special needs to University of Bahrain.
In the aviation sector, two tenders were opened for Bahrain Airport Company. Four bids were received for design, supply and maintain the ORAT tent at Bahrain International Airport. Four bids were received for supply of skilled and semi-skilled staff services at Bahrain International Airport. One tender was opened for Gulf Air, Five bids were received for purchase of B787 Tools and Equipment for outstation.
In the oil and gas sector, two tenders were opened for Bahrain Petroleum Company (Bapco). The first was for purchase of five (5) portable fuel stations, one bid were submitted for this tender. The second is for mobilization of all equipment & skilled manpower and other required resources to carry out the shutdown maintenance activities on the Low Sulphur Fuel Oil (LSFO) Complex Cooling towers, two bids were received for this tender.
Finally, one tender was opened for Tatweer Petroleum, for Supply of various of cable instrument, eight bid was submitted for this tender.
The bids are assessed on all relevant technical and financial criteria and the tenders will be awarded in line with the Bahrain Economic Supply Projects’s guidelines on fairness and competitiveness.
